Vectorization of Java Virtual Machine (M.S Thesis)
Java is a pure object oriented language, flexible and portable. All these features come with an extra cost, Performance. Java seems to perform 8-10 times slower than C, C++ or FORTRAN. Java performance issues have been addressed from different perspectives. The subject of my current research is improvemnt in performance of Java, by using the underlying hardware architecture.
Watermark is a signal embedded into host data for reasons such as ownership, security, secret communication. Robust watermarking has been gaining importance off late. Once watermarks are embedded, they have to retrieved efficiently, no matter what kind of torment the host data receives, may be due to commpression, counter watermark inclusions, geometric deformation. My water marking technique could surrvive JPEG compression to about 40%, and i'm still working on the other aspects.
